Dover, DE. June 2017. In 2017, Firefly introduced Fan Curated experiences. The Fort was chosen based on a fan vote by festival goers as to what they wanted to see at the event. As the sole designer, outsourcing, budgeting, logistics, and installation were all my responsibility for this project.

I designed the fort to be budget friendly and easily shippable. Creating a larger than life sanctuary out of shipping containers not only made for an easy installation but also a fun and functional space for festival goers.
Once the containers were onsite and set into place, they were painted to create a blank canvas. Using the official experience logo (designed in house), Klughaus was contracted to paint a mural which covered the walls of the fort, and added a unique personality to the space. Final lighting installations completed the build and made for a space that drew in event guests day and night.
